Your Questions Answered: Everything You Need to Know About Strength Sanctuary.

We offer a standard membership with access to the facilities within staffed hours on contract basis of 12 months, 6 months and month to month. Prices are as follows
12 Months – $16/ week
6 months – $18/ week
Monthly – $20/ week
We also offer a Small Group Training membership detailed below in “Does the gym offer group fitness classes?”
Monday to Thursday 5:30am to 9pm
Friday 5:30am to 8pm
Saturday 8am to 5pm
Sunday 8am to 1pm
At the Sanctuary we have a mens and womens bathroom along with a shower for you to clean up after your workout before going to work or jumping into the ice bath.
The best way to sign up for a membership is by following our enquiry page or visiting our gym where you will speak to our friendly staff.
We offer a three day trial period on both our standard membership and small group classes for you to experience the gym and community and see why we are the best space for you to reach your goals!
In the event you wish to cancel we ask that you email us at thestrengthsanctuary@gmail.com to help us understand why you are wishing to cancel and how we can best help. Our cancellation requires a 30 day notice period (4 payments)
Within our gym we host 7 experienced personal trainers and two small group class trainers who can further assist you in reaching your health and fitness goals. To enquire you can reach out through our gym staff or directly the trainer.
The Strength Sanctuary is a public space so we do ask you are mindful of other members and wear appropriate activity wear within the gym and closed in shoes. We want you to recognise your hard work without making our other members uncomfortable.
Yes! We offer a small group class membership with unlimited access to our sessions that are capped at 6 members per session.
Class times are as follows:
Monday to Thursday: 5:30am, 6:15am and 6:20pm and 7:15pm
Friday: 5:30am and 6:15am
Here at Strength Sanctuary we want everyone to feel they are in a safe environment so we ask you to be mindful of other members lifting or around you whilst lifting and that you wear closed in shoes when around the gym. (Exception when you are squatting or deadlifting)
All equipment is to be wiped down and disinfected between use to help keep the space happy and healthy for everyone – a clean gym is a happy gym
If you have any medical conditions please advise our gym staff and ensure you have completed our training waiver.
Our space is open to all but for any members below the age of 18 we do require a parent or guardian present.
Yes! We have a shower next to our bathroom facilities.
To store your belongings we have a bag rack which is under security surveillance as we do not tolerate theft within our space.
Absolutely bring your friends! We want to share this space with as many people who will benefit. If it is for a one off session we charge a casual fee of $15 and also open our doors to the greater community on our regular community day initiative!
There is street parking available on Hayward St where the gym is located and across the fields from our back entrance at the Stafford City Shopping Center.
We ask that you do not park down the driveway or next door at the veterinary center as these are not affiliated with our business and will be towed at owner’s expense by the neighbouring businesses.
Our space provides a variety of exercise equipment catered to body building machines, functional fitness, powerlifting and strong man training.
Outdoor:
We are fortunate to boast two outdoor areas on each side of the gym focused on being able to perform the compound movements of squat, bench and deadlift whilst hosting access to a dumbbell selection. Our driveway and sled track also allow for functional exercises of a longer distance. Our back entrance opens on the football fields of Brother Junior Rugby League Club which can be used when not occupied by our neighbours.
Ice baths:
Separating ourselves from other gyms, Strength Sanctuary hosts two ice baths which are available for use during staffed hours. See our friendly staff for an introduction.
Some of our coaches are qualified sports nutritionists so you can enquire directly for nutritional services.
Typically our busy hours are from 7am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm on any given day, Keep in mind that we have an incredibly high equipment to member ratio meaning even in our busiest times you won’t find yourself waiting on any equipment.
We do allow you to pause your membership for up to 6 weeks every calendar year which does not roll over.
We charge on a direct debit basis which takes effect every Friday via bank account or bank card. We also offer upfront payment of your membership via bank transfer or eftpos.
No. Unfortunately we do not offer 24/7 services as we are focused on providing the best training environment face to face with you during our staffed hours. Operating 24/7 would detract from the experience we offer and we want to see you when you come in and train during our business hours!
